The Closest Thing to Your Skin

My talk is LIVE, and just in time for Earth Day

It’s April, which in the sustainability world means everyone is talking about Earth Day.

As we inch closer to this one day (April 22nd) where we highlight something we should be focused on every day (IMHO), I want to add something to this conversation that doesn't get said enough: caring for the planet and caring for your body aren't two separate values. They're one and the same. And one place that rings true is in the garments you wear closest to your skin.

If you’ve been following along, you know that a month and a half ago, my mentor Tricia Brouk gave me a call — and two weeks later, a stage — that I’m so glad I said yes to. (If you're just joining, I shared the full story in an earlier post.)

My talk, The Closest Thing to Your Skin, is now live and its timing feels perfectly aligned with Earth Month.

I invite you to watch the 6.5 minute talk where I share my journey from professional dancer to sustainability entrepreneur, and why what you wear underneath everything deserves more consideration.

You can watch the full talk here (on YouTube). I’d love to know what resonates with you — leave a comment on YouTube or below!
