Most of us flip between gorgeous lingerie made from synthetic materials like lace or mesh that feel scratchy, trap heat, or are just plain uncomfortable, or basics made of cotton that are super comfortable but uninspiring and just don't flatter or excite.
We've accepted this is the way it is. But it doesn't have to be.
I’m building Petal + Ash to be the set you actually want to wear every day. The one that helps you feel as powerful as you are, and is made from materials you can true.
A former professional dancer, I spent years in front of a mirror, striving to perfect every movement and line that my body was capable of making. Perfection was the standard, and working to “fix” the imperfections of my body became a normal part of my daily life.
It’s taken me years (and quite a bit of therapy) to move away from the perfection mindset that plagued me, and to truly embrace who I am: the former professional dancer and the woman who is so much more.
Over the years, despite my struggles with body image, lingerie always felt like an empowering ritual. It wasn’t about who saw what I was wearing. It was for me to feel good in my body. But I struggled to find sets find that were comfortable, beautiful, and made with materials that I could trust. No brand was holding all of these.
So I decided to build one.
Petal + Ash is luxury lingerie made from natural fibers, and free from synthetics and harsh chemicals. Designed to move and breathe with your body, and to safely return to Earth at garment end-of-life. Every fiber, dye, and detail is chosen with intention.
Because what you wear closest to your skin deserves the most consideration...
